Lately I’ve been reconnecting with friends I haven’t seen or talked to in years. Some I know back from junior high, (back in grade 8) and high school, some I know from ten years ago when I was in my twenties. It’s great to hear from people who mean so much to me and all the years of growing up together.
Of course you don’t know at the time when you are a young teenager what it will be like when you are older and looking back over your life… It makes me think of the choices we have and how so many of these daily decisions we make every single day can alter the course of our lives. And the lives of the people around us. This was something I didn’t really see before. There are times when I have acted self-destructively and not realized that I was hurting other people with my actions.
